Thiru Neeragam (Neeragathaan) - Sri Jagadeeshwarar Temple

Kanchipuram is 70 kms from chennai, 36 kms from chengalpattu.
How to reach
Route no 76 from MMDA bus stand from chennai takes you to Kanchi bus stand ( Theradi) From there catch an auto or town bus to Big kanchi which is the sthalam or mandir near Kamatchi amman temple. Persons from south can alight at Chengal pattu and catch a bus to kanchi and get down at BIG Kanchi.
This Divyadesam is found inside Ooragathan Temple
The Perumal is also called as "Thiru Neeragathan" found along with "Nilamangai valli Thaayar".
Moolavar and Thaayar:
The Moolavar of this Sthalam is Sri Neeragathan. He is also named as Jagadeeshwarar. He is found in Nindra thirukkolam facing his thirumugham towards East direction. The Perumal is Prathyaksam for Akroorar.
Thaayar
The Thaayar found in this Sthalam is Nilamangai Valli.
Mangalasasanam:
Thirumangai Alwar - 1 Paasuram. Total - 1 Paasuram.
